Safety Valve

A safety valve is a protective valve whose closing element remains normally closed under external force. It automatically opens when the medium pressure inside equipment or pipelines exceeds the specified value, discharging medium externally to prevent pressure from surpassing predetermined limits. As an automatic valve category, safety valves are primarily used in boilers, pressure vessels, and pipelines to control pressure within safe limits, playing a critical role in personnel safety and equipment operation.

Usage Instructions: 1. Adjust spring to working pressure as ordered. Ensure watertightness before reaching working pressure, with non-flowing water droplets permitted at sealing surfaces.

2. Fully open working pressure shall not exceed 20% of set pressure. Fully closed pressure shall not be lower than 90% of working pressure.

3. For working pressure P≤0.25MPa, fully closed pressure may be 0.05MPa lower than working pressure. After testing, the manufacturer loosens the adjusting sleeve to restore spring to free state.
