Safety Valve

A safety valve is a protective valve whose opening and closing element remains normally closed under external force. When the medium pressure inside equipment or pipelines rises beyond the specified value, it automatically opens to discharge the medium outside the system, preventing the pressure from exceeding the set limit. Safety valves fall under the category of automatic valves and are primarily used in boilers, pressure vessels, and pipelines to control pressure within safe limits, playing a critical role in ensuring personal safety and equipment operation.

The flange connection dimensions of this standard are consistent with JIS B2212-1976 and JIS B2213-1976, the structural length is consistent with JIS F 7334-1976 and JIS F7308-1976, and other dimensions comply with CB*304-77

Usage Instructions: 1. Adjust the spring to the working pressure as per order requirements. Before reaching the working pressure, watertightness must be ensured, but non-flowing water droplets at the sealing surface junction are permissible.

2. The working pressure at which the safety valve fully opens shall not exceed 20% of the set pressure, and the pressure at which it fully closes shall not be lower than 90% of the set pressure.

3. When the working pressure P≤0.25 MPa, the pressure at which the safety valve fully closes may be 0.05 MPa lower than the set pressure. After testing, the manufacturer will loosen the adjusting sleeve to restore the spring to its free state.
