Product Introduction:

This product is an outstanding member of the zinc-based phosphating solution family, specifically designed for rust prevention. It is easy to use, requires no surface conditioner, and does not necessitate strict control of total acid and free acid levels during phosphating. Additionally, no separate accelerator needs to be added. Simply heat to the required temperature range to form a film smoothly.

The working conditions for this product are a phosphating temperature of 65–70°C and a phosphating time of 15–20 minutes. The resulting phosphating film is gray-black, with a fine and uniform appearance, and strong corrosion resistance.

This product is particularly suitable for corrosion-resistant and decorative phosphating of railway bearings, locomotive components, etc., and can serve as medium to long-term rust prevention for steel parts. When used alone for phosphating treatment, it can resist rust for about six months in a dry indoor environment. When combined with anti-rust oil, it can prevent rust for several years.

Usage Method:

Tank Solution Preparation (Calculated for 1 ton)

　According to the ratio of phosphating solution to water = 1: (2-4), add about half of the clean water to the tank, then add one-third of the phosphating solution. Top up with water and heat to the specified process temperature range.

　Note: The rust prevention time of phosphating is closely related to the concentration ratio: higher concentration ratios result in longer corrosion resistance but higher consumption. Choose the concentration ratio based on actual needs to achieve the ideal state.

Process Flow

Workpiece degreasing and derusting → Water rinsing (heated to around 75°C for better results if conditions permit) → Phosphating (T=70-75°C, immersion for 15-20 minutes) → Water rinsing → Air drying

Precautions
(1) Workpiece degreasing and derusting must be thorough.
(2) The workpiece surface should be neutral when entering the working solution.
(3) Replenish the phosphating solution based on consumption, calculated at 10 square meters per kilogram of treatment.

(4) The original medium-temperature zinc-based phosphating solution is highly corrosive. Wear rubber gloves and avoid splashing into eyes, mouth, skin, or clothing. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with clean water. Seek medical attention if severe.

(5) Store sealed in a cool place. Long-term validity.

Special Guidance: After degreasing the workpiece, rinse with water heated to around 75°C, then proceed to phosphating. The phosphating solution should also be heated to 75°C. This treatment ensures suitable results and a thick phosphating film layer.
