Main Applications:

A-1 catalyst is mainly used in the production of flexible polyether polyurethane foam and can also be used for packaging rigid foam. A-1 has particularly strong catalytic efficiency for water, thus enabling lower foam density. It contributes approximately 80% to controlling the gas-producing reaction and about 20% to controlling the gel reaction. This catalyst is highly active and requires minimal usage. Adjusting the dosage in this series can control foam rise and gel time. When used together with organotin catalysts, A-1 significantly improves the production tolerance of foam plastics, ensuring that minor operational oversights or small errors in the metering system do not lead to unnecessary quality issues during production, resulting in high-quality flexible foam plastics.

A-1 catalyst is widely used in various formulations for manufacturing polyurethane foam plastics, especially suitable for producing high-resilience, semi-rigid foam, and low-density foam plastics.
