I. ZSFG Deluge Alarm Valve (Lever Type) Product Introduction

The deluge valve is a direct-sealing diaphragm valve, with the diaphragm made of imported rubber material. It features a rational structure, reliable performance, ease of use, and simple maintenance. There are no shafts or metal valve discs inside the valve, so there is no risk of corrosion. It is widely used in various open systems (where the system-side piping is equipped with open sprinklers), such as deluge systems, water curtain systems, and water mist systems.

II. ZSFG Deluge Alarm Valve (Lever Type) Product Composition and Working Principle

The deluge valve system consists of the deluge valve, hydraulic alarm bell, pressure switch, electrical control cabinet, fire detectors (electronic detectors, closed sprinklers), and fire extinguishing sprinklers (open, water mist, water curtain). When the system is in the standby state, the deluge valve seals the fire water on the supply side of the piping network, while the system-side piping network contains no water. The deluge valve can be activated in three ways: electrically controlled, pilot line controlled (wet or dry), and manual control, allowing users to choose according to their specific conditions.
The opening and closing of the deluge valve are controlled by the water pressure in the diaphragm chamber. When the water pressure in the diaphragm chamber equals the supply pressure, the diaphragm closes, preventing water from entering the system. When the water pressure in the diaphragm chamber drops to a certain value—due to the opening of a solenoid valve, manual emergency quick-opening valve, or the activation of a closed sprinkler—the diaphragm is pushed open by the supply pressure, allowing water to flow into the system-side piping network for fire extinguishing.
Electrically controlled activation: First, electronic detectors in the protected area send fire signals to the alarm host, which filters and processes the signals before sending an activation signal to the solenoid valve on the deluge valve. The solenoid valve opens, depressurizing the diaphragm chamber, causing the deluge valve to activate. Water flows from the supply side into the system piping network and is discharged through open sprinklers across the entire protected area to perform fire extinguishing.
Pilot line control: The water pressure in the diaphragm chamber can also be controlled by a wet or dry pilot piping network, forming a wet (water) or dry (air) system. When a closed sprinkler activates, it reduces the water pressure in the diaphragm chamber via the pilot line, opening the valve.
Manual control: This is typically used for debugging, testing, or emergencies. The valve is equipped with an anti-reset device. Under proper operation, once the water pressure in the diaphragm chamber is released, regardless of whether the solenoid valve or manual quick-opening valve is closed again, the diaphragm pressure chamber cannot repressurize, and the valve remains open. This ensures that during fire extinguishing, the deluge valve does not close unexpectedly due to a sudden power outage causing the solenoid valve to close. After the fire is extinguished, the reset ball valve must be opened by personnel to repressurize the pressure chamber and close the valve.
