I. Purpose of Explosion-Proof Water Flow Indicator:

The ZSJZ series water flow indicator is a key component of the wet automatic sprinkler system. It is generally installed at the beginning of the fire main pipe in each zone of the system, converting the water flow signal into an output electrical signal, which is sent to the electrical control box or fire control center to display the area of water flow action or fire alarm, thereby providing monitoring and alarm functions for the system.

II. Working Principle of Explosion-Proof Water Flow Indicator:

When a fire occurs in a certain zone of the wet sprinkler system, the sprinkler head opens upon sensing heat to extinguish the fire (or when staff open the end test valve for a water discharge test). The water flow in the pipe pushes the blade, directly (two-wire system) activating the microswitch, generating a water flow signal. This signal causes the electrical control box or fire control center to display the fire alarm signal for that zone.
