This silicone product operates within a temperature range of -65°C to +260°C and can withstand short-term exposure up to +316°C. It also serves as an excellent sealant and adhesive for various applications.
Applications:
DOWSIL? 736 High-Temperature Adhesive/Sealant is ready-to-use and can be extruded from the container under pressure. The paste-like adhesive is very easy to apply, and the surface can be smoothed with a spatula or trowel.
Curing progresses from the surface inward. At +25°C and 50% relative humidity, the sealant skins over within 15 minutes. Once the skin has formed, no further finishing should be performed; finishing should be completed within 5-10 minutes before skin formation.
