WackerSilpuran 4200 Medical Adhesive

WACKER SILPURAN 4200 from Germany is a one-component adhesive that cures into a silicone elastomer with high mechanical strength. It is an *ideal material for long-term bonding of medical technology components and is convenient to process and use.

Wacker SILPURAN 4200 is formulated with a new catalyst free of organotin compounds, making it very safe to use. Like all other products in the Wacker SILPURAN series, this new adhesive has passed tests according to ISO 10993-1 and USP Class VI, achieving biocompatibility certification.

In addition to being suitable for bonding fabric surfaces and silicone materials, WACKER SILPURAN 4200 is also ideal for bonding silicone hardeners. Moreover, it does not require pre-treatment with a primer before use, making it particularly suitable for silicone molded parts and fabrics in the fields of prosthetics and orthopedic device manufacturing.
