McLube1829 is a dilutable water-based fluorine & resin blended emulsified release agent. It can be used as a release agent during rubber molding and also as an anti-adhesive agent, offering greater economic efficiency compared to traditional mold release agents.

Usage Instructions

McLube1829 is a concentrate and is typically diluted with water before use. Initially, it is recommended to dilute the product with water at a ratio of 1:4. Due to variations in mold materials and surface roughness, the required coating amount and number of spray applications for forming the release film may differ (recommended: 4 sprays). Once a stable PTFE film has formed on the mold, a higher dilution ratio with water can be used while still achieving excellent release effects. Although McLube1829 is a stable emulsified release agent, sedimentation may occur. Therefore, it is advised to mix and shake thoroughly before use. Shake regularly both before using the concentrate and after dilution. For optimal results, the release agent must be applied to a clean mold surface free of oil, wax, or dust. Any residual release agents from other brands must be removed. Application methods include spraying, dipping, or brushing. To allow rapid evaporation of water and achieve ideal results, the mold should be preheated to above 100°C.

When using 1829 as an anti-adhesive agent, apply it while the rubber material is still warm and allow it to dry naturally. If the rubber material has cooled to room temperature, the applied anti-adhesive agent will require additional drying.
