Uses of No. 2 Self-produced Gas Welding Rod 5.0 Tubular Tungsten Carbide Welding Rod                                      Primarily involve wear-resistant and impact-resistant applications. Specific uses are as follows:

• Wear-Resistant Applications: Suitable for mechanical parts requiring high wear resistance, such as hardfacing for oil drilling tools, engineering machinery, spiral propeller (auger) blades, exhaust fan impellers, mixer blades, slurry pumps, coal mine chutes, etc.
• Impact-Resistant Applications: Suitable for mechanical parts requiring resistance to impact wear, such as crusher blades, mining machinery, coal mine drill rods, sugar cane crusher blades, etc.

These welding rods feature high hardness, wear resistance, impact resistance, and high-temperature resistance, making them suitable for oxy-acetylene hardfacing. The hardfacing temperature should be controlled at 1700°C, and the workpiece to be hardfaced needs to be preheated to 850°C–950°C before welding. Additionally, the workpiece should be free of rust, impurities, and oil stains to ensure optimal hardfacing results.
