It has certain water stability and frost resistance, with low initial strength, but its strength increases over a longer period of time. It has high shrinkage and is prone to cracking; lime aggregate is suitable for use as a base course for secondary and lower-grade roads and urban sub-arterial roads, and can also serve as a sub-base for various pavement types. In agriculture: Bordeaux mixture is prepared by mixing lime milk and copper sulfate solution in a certain ratio as a pesticide, using its copper content to eliminate pests and diseases; adding an appropriate amount of slaked lime to soil can neutralize acidity and alter soil pH.
