Applications of Magnesium Anode: Mainly used for anti-corrosion protection in projects such as oil and gas pipelines, water supply and drainage pipelines, underground cables, chemical industry, communications, harbors, ships, and reservoir gates in underground and freshwater environments. For example, petroleum and gas pipelines, storage tanks, heat exchangers, condensers, etc. Our company can produce both high-potential and low-potential magnesium anodes.

Usage Instructions

This product has the following characteristics: (1) Low specific gravity, relatively negative potential, (2) High driving voltage for iron, low current efficiency, (3) Particularly suitable for high-resistivity media.

Magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes are produced in accordance with GB/T17731-2004 "Magnesium Alloy Sacrificial Anodes." Anodes used for pipelines also comply with SY/T0019-97 "Design Specification for Cathodic Protection of Buried Steel Pipelines with Sacrificial Anodes."

The magnesium alloy produced by our company uses raw materials to manufacture anodes with negative potential and high electrical output per unit mass, making it an ideal sacrificial anode material. It is suitable for the cathodic protection of metal structures in media such as soil, freshwater, and seawater, for example, petroleum and gas pipelines, storage tanks, heat exchangers, condensers, etc.
