XP1545 Isocetyl Stearate


Product Overview XP1545 is a biodegradable monoester with excellent wetting properties and low viscosity. Isocetyl stearate is widely used as a base oil and additive, particularly suitable for metal cutting fluids,
offering good wetting and annealing cleanliness in rolling fluids.

· Steel plate rolling: 5-50%
· Cutting, grinding, drawing, stamping (neat oil and water-soluble): 5-95%

Performance Features
1. Isocetyl stearate is a common isoester in metalworking fluids with good wetting properties, providing excellent lubricity in all three types of neat oil processing, along with fluid permeability for applications such as high-speed cutting, drilling, and stamping.
2. Isocetyl stearate has no iodine value, offering strong oxidation resistance in high-temperature and severe processing conditions. In harsh processing environments, it pairs well with highly active sulfur extreme pressure agents, not only resisting oxidation but also providing excellent synergistic lubrication and extreme pressure properties.
3. With a viscosity close to that of No. 10 white mineral oil, it emulsifies easily as a base oil for semi-synthetic processing fluids.
