XP705 Barium Dinonylnaphthalene Sulfonate                                           

Product Overview Barium dinonylnaphthalene sulfonate (T705) is a widely used rust preventive additive that offers excellent anti-rust properties for various metals and their components. It features good oil solubility stability, excellent lubrication and anti-wear performance, and maintains stability even under humid conditions.

Applications

1. Used as a rust preventive additive in various petroleum and synthetic lubricating oils and greases;

2. Serves as a rust inhibitor in petroleum ether cleaners and water-displacing rust preventive fluids;

3. Can function as an acid neutralizer and corrosion inhibitor;

4. Used in extreme pressure greases, providing good rust prevention without affecting their extreme pressure performance; 

5. Employed as a rust preventive additive in rust preventive oils for metal-to-metal contact, instrument oils, and other anti-rust oils;

6. Used as a rust preventive additive in paper machine oils, diamond oils, turbine oils, hydraulic oils, circulating oils, and other industrial lubricating oils used in water environments.

Test Method ① In a glass test tube with a diameter of 30mm-40mm and a height of 120mm-130mm, fill the sample to 2/3 of the height and observe from the side of the tube at room temperature.

② Add 150 neutral oil (T705 uses rubber industrial solvent oil instead) to a beaker, add 5% sample, dissolve completely, let stand for 24 hours; no white precipitate or suspended matter is qualified.
