Overview

The tuning fork level switch is a new type of level limit switch. The tuning fork is excited by a crystal to generate vibration. When the tuning fork is immersed in material, the vibration frequency changes. This frequency change is detected by electronic circuits, which control a DPDT relay (double-pole double-throw) and current output to achieve level detection. The tuning fork level switch is widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, light industry, food, and water treatment for material presence/absence (high/low level) alarm and control.

2 Longer lifespan: Using the instrument's built-in shorting device to control material presence/absence (high/low level) alarm keeps the relay in a released state for extended periods, thereby extending the instrument's lifespan and reducing power consumption.

2 Current output: One set of current output; when material contacts the fork, the output current is 0mA; when material leaves the fork, the current is 10mA.

Application Range

Solid materials: Rice, milk powder, sugar, salt, laundry detergent, dye, cement, stone powder, plastic pellets, etc.

Liquid media: Water, slurry, pulp, dye, oil, milk, alcohol, beverages, etc. (non-viscous materials).

The instrument has no moving parts and features corrosion resistance, high sensitivity, and easy installation.
