High-grade plastic colorants are the most ideal colorants for various plastics, offering advantages such as strong coloring power, excellent heat resistance, high lightfastness, resistance to acids and alkalis, and vibrant colors. They are widely used in the coloring of daily-use plastics, bobbin materials, industrial oils, paints, inks, and masterbatches. Some varieties are suitable for coloring and spinning of chemical fibers, polyester, nylon, acetate fibers, etc.

Application Range

High-grade plastic colorants fall under the category of oil-soluble dyes and can dissolve in organic solvents. They can be used individually or mixed in specific proportions to create various color tones as needed.

Dye Application

When these dyes dissolve in the plastic melt, they distribute in a molecular state. For coloring various plastics, a specific proportion can be directly added to the plastic and uniformly mixed for pre-molding or molding. The color intensity can be adjusted as required. In transparent and clean resins, the dyes produce bright and transparent tones. When combined with an appropriate amount of titanium white powder and other dyes, semi-transparent or opaque tones can be achieved. The dosage can be negotiated based on needs, with transparent tones typically using 0.02%-0.05%, and opaque tones generally using around 0.1%.
