1 Overview
1.1 Scope of Application
The PSC641UX Capacitor Protection and Control Unit is a multifunctional device with basic configurations including current and voltage protection and unbalance protection, integrating various measurement and control functions. It is suitable for shunt capacitors at voltage levels of 35kV and below. Application areas cover industries such as power, water conservancy, transportation, petroleum, chemical, coal, metallurgy, etc.
1.2 Protection Function Configuration
a) Two-stage phase current protection;
b) Two-stage zero-sequence current protection;
c) Overcurrent inverse-time protection;
d) Zero-sequence inverse-time protection;
e) Undervoltage protection;
f) Overvoltage protection;
g) Three independent unbalance protections;
h) Automatic switching function;
i) Non-electrical protection;
j) TV disconnection detection.
1.3 Measurement and Control Function Configuration
a) Measurement quantities such as current, voltage, power, power factor, etc.;
b) 14 external switch input telemetry acquisition (up to 20 optional);
c) Circuit breaker position, manual tripping, and accident telemetry;
d) Normal circuit breaker remote control switching;
e) GPS time synchronization input.
