II. Performance
Protectol HT is a highly effective bactericide and preservative, especially suitable for high environmental temperatures and alkaline water systems; it is produced using BASF's unique manufacturing process, resulting in high purity, low odor, good stability, and no discoloration. It is a slow-release bactericide, providing long-term antimicrobial function to slurries, effectively eliminating microorganisms in pipelines, preventing blockages and adhesion to pipe walls, and ensuring safe system operation.
III. Applications
This product is used as a preservative in various industries; for papermaking additives and bulk pulp preservation; suitable for long-term storage requirements of commercial pulp and microbial control in process water.
Protectol HT can be used alone or in combination with other bactericides.
Papermaking Industry Bactericide: Preservation of paper mill additives and bulk pulp; recommended dosage: for commercial pulp (50% concentration), add 1～2kg/ton of this product to ensure safe long-term storage and transportation without spoilage; for papermaking process water, add 0.01～0.02% (by weight).
Specific usage concentrations should be determined through targeted repeated tests.
IV. Packaging
This product is packaged in 230kg plastic drums. The packaging containers are labeled with the product name, specifications, production batch number, net weight, and manufacturer name.
V. Transportation and Storage
This product should be stored in sealed containers at room temperature in a well-ventilated, dry, and cool place. Handle with care during transportation to avoid impact.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When handling concentrated products, safety goggles must be worn. The shelf life in unopened containers is 12 months. Once opened and partially used, the drum must be tightly closed immediately.
