This product is partially soluble in distilled water and 5% saline solution, and soluble in low-carbon alcohols and toluene. It features low residual monomers and stable physical properties. The product has passed KIWA-ATA certification. It exhibits low acute toxicity, is non-irritating, and has no sensitizing tendency. According to EU chemical regulations, it is a non-hazardous substance. It is not highly toxic to marine life and does not pollute the environment when discharged as concentrated seawater. The Huanghua Power Plant's seawater desalination system, with a 2×10,000 tons/day MED unit, has been operating since June 2006 using Soklan AF defoamer, with excellent results.
