II. Performance
This product is an anionic polyelectrolyte and should not be combined with cationic polyelectrolytes.
This product is a low molecular weight, clear or turbid yellow liquid. It is soluble in water, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, ethylene glycol, acetic acid, and dioxane; insoluble in benzene, acetone, chloroform, diethyl ether, and other non-polar solvents.
When the relative molecular weight is relatively low (below 2000), its main function is scale inhibition, preventing scale-forming salts in water from precipitating; when the relative molecular weight is relatively high (4000–10000), its main function is dispersion, preventing precipitated scale-forming salts from adhering to container walls or pipeline walls. For general water quality, the dosage of this product is 1–15 mg/l.
III. Applications
Salts contained in hard water tend to form hard scale at the bottom and walls of containers, as well as on heat exchangers, pipelines, and nozzles. CP 10 S is highly effective against such scale; CP 10 S is a polyacrylate (salt) with low molar mass, manufactured through a special polymerization process. They perform excellently in aqueous media and are particularly effective at dispersing inorganic solids, helping to inhibit the formation of scale caused by hard water salts.
CP 10 S is used in railway steam locomotives, civil and industrial boiler water treatment as a scale inhibition dispersant; in oilfield oil and water pipelines and industrial circulating cooling water systems as a scale and corrosion inhibitor. For circulating cooling water, the typical dosage is 1–5 mg/l (based on 100% concentration).
CP 10 S is also suitable for alkaline water quality and exhibits synergistic effects when used in combination with other scale and corrosion inhibitors.
IV. Packaging
This product is packaged in 250 kg plastic drums. The packaging container is labeled with the product name, trademark, technical standard, production batch number, net weight, and manufacturer name.
V. Transportation and Storage
Handle with care during transportation; avoid impact.
This product should be stored in a sealed container in a well-ventilated, dry, and cool place. In its original sealed packaging, the shelf life of this liquid product is at least 24 months.
