This product is formed by the esterification reaction of phthalic anhydride and octanol. It is a transparent, easily flowing colorless or slightly yellow oily liquid with a faint aromatic odor. It has a boiling point of 386.9°C (mmHg), a flash point of 217°C, and an ignition point of 241°C. It is slightly soluble in glycerol and some amines, and soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons.

Product Applications:
E This product is a primary plasticizer with excellent high-temperature resistance and aging resistance. It exhibits low volatility, low migration, low extraction, good electrical insulation, and provides good mechanical properties and flexibility that change minimally with temperature, making it suitable for products used over a wide temperature range. Due to its excellent high-temperature resistance, low volatility, and electrical insulation properties, it is widely used in high-temperature (105°C) cables, automotive interior materials, conveyor belts, and other products.
E When used in plastisols, it imparts good flow properties and minimal viscosity change over long storage periods.
E It can also serve as a plasticizer for synthetic rubber without affecting the vulcanization of the rubber compound.
E DIDP, DOP, and DINP belong to the same series of products, all being phthalate esters. DIDP is formed by the esterification of phthalic anhydride with ten-carbon alcohols, giving it a higher molecular weight, better heat resistance, better migration resistance, and better extraction resistance compared to DOP and DINP. For PVC wire compounds, using DIDP alone as a plasticizer can meet the UL 90°C standard; using DOP alone as the primary plasticizer for PVC wire compounds can meet the UL 60°C standard; and using DINP alone as the primary plasticizer for PVC wire compounds can meet the UL 75°C standard. Of course, some manufacturers mix DIDP and TOTM to produce wire compounds that meet the UL 105°C standard. Due to its excellent weather resistance, DIDP is also widely used in automotive PVC interiors, such as automotive leather, PVC dashboard panels, and PVC plastic trim parts for doors.
Packaging and Storage: Packed in 200kg iron drums. Store in a cool, dry place away from fire, heat, and direct sunlight. Keep separate from oxidizers (such as nitric acid). In case of fire, use foam, carbon dioxide, sand, or dry powder extinguishers.
