Physical and Chemical Properties

Erucamide ER is a white powdery solid with no odor. Its molecular structure contains an ultra-long carbon chain and a polar amide group, giving it excellent surface properties and good thermal stability. It is suitable for higher processing temperatures and provides long-lasting slip effects. It is insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents.

1. Mainly used as a slip and anti-blocking agent for plastics such as CPP, BOPP, LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, PVC, PVDF, PVDC, PU, and metallocene polyethylene. It significantly reduces the dynamic and static friction coefficients on the surface of products (films or sheets), improving processability and packaging efficiency.

2. In inks, it provides slip, anti-adhesion, and anti-fouling effects, delays the settling and caking of pigments and fillers, aids in redispersion, and enhances the wear resistance, scratch resistance, and surface smoothness of printed materials. It particularly improves slip properties and anti-blocking during color printing.

3. When added to rubber (SBE, SBP, SBR, PP), it enhances the gloss, anti-fouling properties, and elongation of rubber products, improves vulcanization promotion and wear resistance, and notably prevents sun-induced cracking.

4. Used as a release agent and surface slip and brightening agent for thermoplastic elastomers (TPE, TEO, TPU) and fluororubber, as a lubricant and release agent for engineering plastics, as a lubricant for LDPE calendered artificial leather, and as a slip agent for fiber materials and non-woven fabrics.

Packaging and Storage

Each bag has a net weight of 25 kg, with a storage period of one year. It is recommended to store in a dark, dry, and well-ventilated place. Temperatures exceeding 35°C may cause caking and discoloration. The product can still be used after one year if it passes inspection. It should be stored and transported according to general chemical regulations.
