Stearyl Erucamide

Chemical names: Crodamide212, Kemamide180, Medium Slip, Stearyl erucamide

Physicochemical properties: This product exhibits excellent lubricity and smoothness, with good thermal stability. It can be used in plastic (resin) processing at temperatures exceeding 300°C. Its usage is increasing with the growing demand for high-temperature resistant polymers. It is particularly useful in film casting processes for engineering plastics. It migrates to the surface of polypropylene copolymers but does not migrate to the core layer of polypropylene homopolymers. It is approved for use in food containers and packaging materials.

Main applications:

1. Used as a lubricant, anti-blocking agent, and release agent for resins such as polyolefins, nylon (PA), and polyesters (PET, PBT). Particularly suitable for composite and multi-layer co-extrusion production processes, as well as in calendared packaging and heat-sealed packaging.
2. Used in appropriate amounts as needed in the production of PE, PP, PS, ABS, PA, AS, PET, PVC, PC, and PVDC.
3. Internal release agent for acrylic rubber.
4. Effective anti-blocking and slip agent for cellulose, polyolefins, ethylene/propylene, ethylene/vinyl copolymers, and polyvinyl polymers and copolymers.
5. High-temperature resistant release agent, lubricant, and friction modifier for engineering plastics (friction coefficient can be controlled between 0.25-0.45).
6. Excellent release agent for metallocene polyolefins.

Packaging and storage: The product is packaged in composite bags, with a net weight of 20kg or 25kg per bag. During transportation, avoid direct sunlight and rain. The shelf life is one year. It is recommended to store in a dark, dry, and well-ventilated place. After one year, it can still be used if it passes inspection. This product should be stored and transported according to general chemical regulations.
