Intalox Saddle Ring packing is a new type of packing improved on the basis of the矩鞍環(huán)填料 (saddle ring packing), hence also known as Super Intalox Saddle packing. Its distinguishing feature is that the扇形弧面 (fan-shaped arc surface) has been modified into a貝殼形弧面 (shell-shaped arc surface) with serrated edges or corrugated protrusions, and perforations have been added to connect the inner and outer surfaces of the packing. This increases the void space between the packing elements within the bed, enhances the free channels for fluid flow, thereby facilitating the movement and dispersion of gas and liquid within the packing layer. It also improves liquid distribution and surface renewal, characterized by low pressure drop and high mass transfer efficiency. As a result, it offers higher processing capacity and improved mass transfer performance with lower pressure drop compared to矩鞍環(huán)填料 (saddle ring packing).
