The NT3040 intelligent moisture sensor is an integrated multifunctional monitoring device that combines data acquisition, wireless communication, self-power supply, and protection mechanisms. It is specifically designed for comprehensive monitoring of soil moisture, temperature, and surface tilt. Its core function is to accurately measure layered soil moisture, temperature, and surface tilt angle at depths of 0–100 cm below the surface. It is widely applicable in intelligent monitoring scenarios across agriculture, geology, environmental science, and other fields.

Simultaneously collects parameters such as layered soil moisture, soil temperature, tilt angle, azimuth angle, battery voltage, ambient temperature, and positioning information, greatly enhancing data correlation and facilitating subsequent data analysis.

*60-Month Ultra-Long Battery Life

With an ultra-low power consumption design, the sensor uses a built-in lithium-thionyl chloride battery and 4G communication, enabling continuous operation for 60 months without the need for sunlight or external power supply. It is particularly suitable for scenarios where direct sunlight is unavailable.

*IP68 Protection Rating

Features an integrated fully sealed tubular structure design, constructed with high-strength, aging-resistant engineering polyurethane material. With an IP68 protection rating, it is suitable for long-term field monitoring.

*Non-Contact Measurement

The sensitive components of the sensor do not directly contact the soil, reducing interference such as soil corrosion and ensuring a long service life.

*Scheduled + Triggered Acquisition

In addition to scheduled acquisition, it supports triggered acquisition. When the sensor detects tilt movement, it can trigger the collection and reporting of soil moisture data, which can be used to study the relationship between moisture content and landslide movement.

*Easy Installation, No Civil Engineering Required

The sensor housing is laser-printed with depth scales for easy alignment during installation. Using a specialized soil drilling tool on-site, sensor installation can be completed within 15 minutes.

The sensor can monitor moisture content within a cylindrical area with a radius of 15 cm and a height of 10 cm, offering a larger measurement range and more accurate, stable data.
