The RY-YL tipping bucket rain gauge measures precipitation based on the principle of converting rainfall into measurable physical signals. It is widely used in small meteorological stations, hydrological stations, agriculture, forestry, and other related departments to measure precipitation, rainfall intensity, and precipitation duration. It outputs pulse signals, and the amount of rainfall is measured by recording the number of pulses.
