What is MPP pipe?

MPP pipe, also known as MPP power pipe, is generally divided into two types: excavation and trenchless. Trenchless MPP pipe is also called MPP jacking pipe or dragging pipe. MPP pipe is mainly made of modified polypropylene, offering advantages such as temperature resistance and pressure resistance, making it suitable for use in medium and low-voltage power cable conduit systems within 10 kV.

The commonly used pipe diameters range from 110 mm to 250 mm, and they are categorized into standard type and reinforced type. The standard type is mainly used for excavation laying and trenchless construction with burial depths less than 4 meters, while the reinforced type is primarily used for trenchless construction with burial depths exceeding 4 meters.

Electrical conduit sleeves generally fall into four major categories. In electrical materials, there are fiberglass conduit sleeves, PVC conduit sleeves, heat-shrink tubing, etc., all of which are types of insulating sleeves. Generally, electrical conduit sleeves can be divided into single electrical conduit sleeves, composite electrical conduit sleeves, capacitive electrical conduit sleeves, and stainless steel conduit sleeves. Stainless steel conduit sleeves, made of 304 stainless steel or 301 stainless steel, are used as protective tubes for wires, cables, and automated instrument signal wires and cables, with specifications ranging from 3 mm to 150 mm.

Ultra-small diameter stainless steel conduit sleeves (inner diameter 3 mm-25 mm) are mainly used for protecting sensor circuits in precision optical rulers and industrial sensors, offering excellent flexibility, corrosion resistance, high-temperature resistance, wear resistance, and tensile strength.
