An impact crusher is a type of crushing machinery that utilizes impact energy to break materials. This crushing equipment can handle various materials with a particle size of no more than 500 mm and a compressive strength not exceeding 360 MPa. (Typically used in the range of <150 MPa to 250 MPa.) It features a large crushing ratio, high crushing efficiency, and convenient maintenance. The product output is cubic in shape, making it an ideal processing equipment for aggregates used in high-grade road surfaces and hydropower construction. Impact crushers are widely used in highway construction, water conservancy projects, and building stone processing due to their excellent performance and reliability.
Its working principle involves stones falling directly from the upper part of the machine into a high-speed rotating rotor. Under the action of high-speed centrifugal force, they collide at high speed with another part of the stones that are diverted in an umbrella-shaped pattern around the rotor, resulting in high-density crushing. After mutual impact, the stones form a vortex motion between the rotor and the machine casing, leading to multiple rounds of mutual striking, friction, and crushing, eventually discharging from the bottom. This forms a closed-circuit multiple-cycle process, with the particle size controlled by screening equipment.
