Material Characteristics:

Type 316 Stainless Steel:

This is the standard chromatography tubing material, suitable for a wide range of applications. It is manufactured using a quenched seamless process rather than welded tubing, with very small deviations in inner and outer diameters. We neither recommend nor supply Type 304 stainless steel for analytical applications. Austenitic stainless steel meets the requirements for most chromatography applications. Type 316 stainless steel offers resistance to chloride ions and is commonly used in liquid chromatography.

Hastelloy C?:

When no other suitable material is available, this is our commonly recommended corrosion-resistant material. This versatile nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy offers excellent acid resistance,
