Usage Description

MPS101 reverse osmosis flocculant is a water-soluble inorganic electrolyte, with its main active component being high-iron compounds. It is an efficient water purification agent in water treatment processes, offering significant effects such as precipitating heavy metals and sulfides, decolorizing, deodorizing, degreasing, sterilizing, phosphorus removal, and reducing effluent COD and BOD. It can be used with reverse osmosis membranes and TFC membranes from Dow Chemical (Dow Filmtec), Hydranautics, as well as domestic nanofiltration membrane elements.

Usage Requirements

Dosage:

When using, it is recommended to prepare a 10-20% concentration aqueous solution, preferably using reverse osmosis effluent or desalted water for preparation.

When used alone, the dosing amount is 30-50 mg/L. When used in combination with other organic coagulants, the dosing amount is 10-20 mg/L. The appropriate dosage can be determined through jar tests based on actual field conditions.

Generally selected before the multi-media filter, directly dosed by a metering pump or mixed thoroughly with the raw water via the feed pump suction.
