Working Principle of PP Spray Tower:
Spray towers can be categorized into three forms: co-current flow, counter-current flow, and cross flow. Among these, the most commonly used is the counter-current spray: acidic or alkaline waste gas is introduced into the purification tower through a duct. After passing through the packing layer, the waste gas is delivered from the bottom of the tower. It is distributed by a gas distribution device and then continuously flows counter-currently with the sodium hydroxide absorption liquid through the voids in the packing layer. On the surface of the packing, the gas and liquid phases fully contact each other, undergoing absorption and neutralization reactions to adsorb acidic or alkaline pollutants contained in the waste gas. After purification, the acid mist waste gas is dehydrated and demisted by the demister plate, and the clean gas is discharged into the atmosphere by the fan. Insoluble viscous particles and dust are discharged into the collection pool, suspended particles exit through the overflow port, and the collected sediment is discharged from the drain port. The absorption liquid is pressurized by a water pump at the bottom of the tower, sprayed downward from the top, and finally returns to the bottom of the tower for recycling.
