1.2 Main Purpose and Scope of Application

The coal mine hoist brake gap protection and brake shoe gap monitoring device is suitable for protecting and online monitoring and displaying the disc brake gap of mining hoists. When powered on, the displacement sensor and oil pressure sensor output a 4-20mA signal, which is transmitted to the main unit via a communication module for data processing. The converted corresponding data, i.e., real-time data of the hoist brake, is displayed online on the screen. When the brake shoe gap exceeds 2mm, and the brake oil pressure value is above the upper limit set value or below the lower limit set value, the data is analyzed to determine the output of a warning signal, and the device emits an audible alert.

The monitoring device is suitable for online monitoring and protection of brake shoe gap wear in coal mine hoist winches.
