The return belt cleaning device consists of a cleaning box body (made of stainless steel with a thickness not less than 2mm), an adhesive material recovery box (structurally similar to a small cart, equipped with wheels and a braking device), a pressure roller (manually controlled for lifting and lowering), an inspection door, and cleaning blades. The contact area between the cleaning box body and the conveyor belt is sealed with an anti-overflow apron to prevent coal dust and spray dust suppression from leaking.

4.3.11.3  The return belt surface cleaner is installed under the return belt of the conveyor and uses a three-stage cleaning system to thoroughly scrape off adhered materials from the belt. The first stage is a hard polyurethane cleaner, the second stage is a polyurethane cleaner, and the third stage is a water-removal scraper. One of the three stages must include a carbide cleaner comprising a sensing device, scraper, scraper height fine-tuning unit, scraper frame, and locking nut. The scraper is connected to the height fine-tuning unit via keyway anti-rotation and bolt fastening. The height fine-tuning unit engages with the scraper frame in an anti-rotation manner, allowing independent adjustment of each scraper's height. Each scraper maintains a certain and independent contact pressure with the belt, preventing the entire row of scrapers from being pushed away due to local protrusions or excessive pressure on a single scraper, which could result in incomplete cleaning and belt damage. The scrapers are arranged in a staggered分段交錯(cuò) pattern without interference between them. A single scraper is designed to be 120mm wide, and the scraper head must be made of tungsten carbide material, requiring excellent cleaning efficiency and wear resistance. The scrapers must be arranged in a staggered分段前后交錯(cuò) layout, and each scraper must be equipped with an independent rubber torsion spring with high-speed dynamic buffering performance. Based on the function of different belt cleaners, the cleaner positions should be reasonably arranged to quickly remove adhered materials from the belt, improve the belt's cleaning effect, and significantly extend the belt's service life.

4.3.11.4  A movable adhesive material recovery box (made of stainless steel) is placed below the cleaning box to collect the scraped-off materials from the belt, allowing for their reuse by returning them to the belt. The movement direction of the recovery box is perpendicular to the operation direction of the belt conveyor. To ensure the recovery box can be fully pulled out for coal unloading, one set of return belt surface cleaners is equipped with two recovery boxes arranged perpendicularly to the belt's operation direction. A分流角鋼 (diverting angle steel) is installed above the junction of the two recovery boxes to prevent coal dust from falling into the gap between them.

4.3.11.5  At the rear end of the cleaning box, a press belt roller that can be manually controlled for lifting and lowering (using a crank handle to control the screw mechanism for adjustment, with handles on both sides) is installed to adjust the contact between the belt and the cleaner scrapers, ensuring effective cleaning. This also facilitates on-site operation; when the cleaner is not in use, the press belt roller can be raised to separate the belt from the scrapers, avoiding damage to both the belt and the scrapers.
