III. Physical and Chemical Properties:
Gray powder, odorless, tasteless. No change when exposed to air, specific gravity 2.71. Melting point 825°C (decomposition). Almost insoluble in water, insoluble in alcohol. Effervesces and dissolves upon contact with dilute acetic acid or dilute nitric acid. Decomposes into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide when heated.
IV. Characteristics and Uses
This product is made from high-quality limestone as raw material, with low impurities and uniform particle size, low DOP oil absorption value. It is widely used in industries such as plastics, rubber, and building material additives. When used in plastic composites, it significantly improves the bonding strength and mechanical properties at the material interface; when used in various plastic pipes, profiles, plastic products, degradable plastics, and wire and cable materials, it can enhance toughness, reinforcement, improve gloss, and enhance quality. In the rubber industry, it can improve the product's tensile strength, tensile resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, tear resistance, and other properties. In the coatings industry, it can increase film thickness, improve the wear resistance and weather resistance of the coating, while also increasing the powder application rate and spray coverage of powder materials.
