Composed of granular iron hydroxide, it adsorbs contaminants such as arsenic and heavy metals onto its surface during the adsorption process, allowing for easy removal from water.

Usage

1. Filling Height (cm): Above 80 cm, recommended 100–160 cm

2. Optimal pH for Arsenic Adsorption: 6.5–7.5

3. Operating Flow Rate: Depending on water quality, between 10–30 BV/h, generally recommended at 10–20 BV/h

4. Contact Time with Water: 3–5 minutes

5. Backwashing: Pressure drop of 0.5 bar
