Preparation

Equip with necessary tools and equipment, such as garbage trucks, brooms, shovels, brushes, cleaning agents, disinfectants, protective gloves, masks, etc.

Based on the distribution of trash bins and the volume of cleaning tasks, reasonably arrange staff and working hours.

Cleaning Steps

Emptying Trash: Empty all garbage from the trash bins into the garbage truck. Ensure no residual garbage remains in the bins. For garbage adhering to the inner walls, use tools like shovels for removal.

Internal and External Cleaning:

Sweep the inside of the trash bin with a broom or brush to remove dust, debris, and residual garbage fragments.

Wipe the exterior of the trash bin, including the lid, body, and base, to eliminate surface stains, dust, and adhesive stickers.

For stubborn stains, use cleaning agents for wiping or scrubbing, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Disinfection Treatment: Spray or wipe the inside and outside of the trash bin with disinfectant to kill bacteria, viruses, and pests, preventing odor and disease transmission. Common disinfectants include chlorine-based ones; dilute and use according to the instructions.

Clean the Surrounding Area: Clean the ground around the trash bin, removing scattered garbage, sewage, etc., to maintain a tidy environment.

Reset Placement: Return the cleaned trash bin to its original position, arrange it neatly, and ensure the lid is tightly closed.

Precautions

Staff should take personal protective measures during cleaning, wearing gloves, masks, etc., to avoid direct contact with garbage and contaminants, preventing disease infection.

Transport the cleaned garbage promptly to designated disposal sites to avoid secondary pollution during transit.

Regularly inspect trash bins; if damaged or missing parts, repair or replace them promptly to ensure normal use.

Adjust the frequency and timing of trash bin cleaning based on the characteristics of different locations and seasons. For example, during high temperatures in summer, increase cleaning frequency to prevent garbage fermentation, odor, and pest breeding.
