The Glass Product Stress Inspection Instrument is a device that utilizes the principle of polarized light interference to examine internal stress in glass or birefringence effects in crystals. Equipped with a sensitive tint plate and employing the quarter-wave plate compensation method, this instrument not only allows for qualitative or semi-quantitative measurement of internal stress in glass based on the interference color sequence in the polarized field but also accurately determines the numerical value of internal stress in glass.
