Introduction:

HCA-S-400M Series Optical Receiver
The HCA-S-400M optical receiver series combines a fast photodiode with the exceptional FEMTO HCA current amplifier technology. The HCA-S-400M is available with fast Si or InGaAs photodiodes, covering spectral ranges of 320-1000 nm and 900-1700 nm, respectively. The amplifier's transimpedance is 5×103 V/A, resulting in a maximum conversion gain of 4.8×103 V/W for the InGaAs model at 1550 nm and 2.7×103 V/W for the silicon photodiode model at 800 nm. The precision DC-coupled multistage amplifier design allows measurements from DC up to a maximum bandwidth of 400 MHz, corresponding to a minimum rise time of 1 ns.
