Cleaning Steps and Methods:

Four-tank washing method: Initial rinse - Enzyme wash - Disinfection (2% alkaline glutaraldehyde) - Rinse;

Five-tank washing method: Initial rinse - Enzyme wash - Rinse - Disinfection (2% alkaline glutaraldehyde) - Rinse

Gastroscopes, colonoscopes, and duodenoscopes should be immersed for no less than 10 minutes;

Bronchoscopes should be immersed for no less than 20 minutes;

Endoscopes used on patients with special infections such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other mycobacteria should be immersed for no less than 45 minutes.
