Portable Power Sources Covered by This Policy
Portable power sources, also known as power units, power banks, USB chargers, power banks, and battery chargers, are rechargeable external batteries with their own chargers and circuits that provide power when normal grid power is unavailable. The most common types are battery packs or power banks with USB outputs or car chargers.
1. Power Banks
Power banks, also known as portable USB chargers or portable backup battery power sources, are small, portable power sources that can charge electronic devices (such as phones and tablets) anytime without a power outlet.
2. Power Banks
Power banks are products with large capacity in mobile batteries that can be used for extended periods and support various electrical output forms. In environments where electricity is unavailable (such as outdoor recreation, car stays, or disasters), you can use power banks to charge smartphones, computers, and appliances.
These products may also have additional functions, such as serving as flashlights, voltmeters, inverters, car adapters, and internal air compressor components. Power banks primarily use DC power devices, with internal lithium-ion batteries storing electricity and providing power to appliances via USB ports or AC outlets.
3. Portable Car Emergency Starters
These are devices consisting of one or more batteries housed in an enclosure that can serve as a portable power source when normal grid power is unavailable.
These devices have a boosting function to start car batteries with instantaneous high current and high voltage and can also be used in emergencies.
