Waterproof fabrics were initially developed for the production of protective clothing and are now widely used in the manufacturing of sportswear, travel bags, tents, etc. Additionally, waterproof and moisture-permeable fabrics can serve as wound dressings to keep the skin dry and prevent bacterial invasion. They are also used as surgical gowns and dust-proof workwear in cleanrooms. 

Advantages of Waterproofing Agent:

1. Eco-friendly: Contains no APEO (alkylphenol ethoxylates), no PFOS, and PFOA content below 1ppm. 

2. Cost-effective: Very low dosage required for treating synthetic fabrics such as polyester and nylon. 

3. The product is a non-flammable water-based emulsion. 

4. Recommended for triple-proof finishing of fabrics such as polyester, nylon, polyester-cotton blends, etc. 

5. Wide production applicability: The water and oil repellency of DTM-648 is not sensitive to the pH of the working solution. 

6. Fabrics are endowed with protective functions while maintaining their natural hand feel, appearance, and breathability. 

7. Can be applied via spraying, foaming, coating, wet roller, padding, exhaustion, and other methods. 

8. Excellent stability when used in combination with other textile auxiliaries.

Packaging Specifications

For pilot purchases, three packaging specifications are available: 5KG, 10KG, and 20KG. For regular mass production purchases, only 60KG blue plastic drum packaging is provided.

Usage Instructions:

1. First, add the required amount of DTM-648 waterproofing agent into a clean mixing bucket, then slowly add the required amount of tap water. After adding the water, stir at low speed for 5~10 minutes until the solution is uniformly mixed, avoiding excessive foam generation. 

2. When used in the same bath with cross-linking agents, penetrants, anti-wrinkle resins, or other auxiliaries, pre-test the compatibility and stability of these agents with DTM-648. Ensure that these products and the waterproofing agent are diluted separately to avoid mixing in their original liquid forms.

Friendly Reminder:

1. It is recommended to wear gloves, goggles, or a face shield to protect your hands and eyes, and avoid skin and eye contact. 

2. Before combining with other auxiliaries, conduct preliminary tests to fully confirm compatibility with the mixed chemicals. 

3. Stir the treatment solution slowly during preparation to avoid generating excessive foam. 

4. Fluorinated waterproofing agents may have a darkening effect; please confirm the color change after processing in advance. 

5. Curing must be thorough; otherwise, the optimal protective performance may not be achieved. It is recommended to conduct preliminary tests based on machine conditions. 

6. Try to use the prepared treatment solution within 12 hours; if stored for a long time, confirm its usability before use. 

7. Roller drying is not an ideal method as resin residues tend to adhere and accumulate on the rollers.
