After immersing materials in the warm water of this constant temperature bath for a specified period, observe whether they deteriorate, including surface blistering, fading, expansion, etc., to determine quality. The weight change rate before and after the test can also be calculated. The bath can be used for voltage withstand and insulation resistance tests of wires in water.

XL-SC186 Constant Temperature Water Bath

Description:

The constant temperature water bath is used in laboratories of scientific research departments such as biology, chemistry, physics, chemical engineering, medical treatment, and schools. Its main features include: microcomputer single-chip microprocessors and non-contact voltage pulse output driving SSR control for temperature regulation, PID self-tuning function, and direct temperature display via LED.

This water bath complies with standards such as UL/CSA and GB, and is particularly suitable for voltage withstand and insulation resistance tests of wires and cables in constant temperature water.

This product refers to the standard: JB/T5377 "Technical Conditions for Constant Temperature Water Baths".

Parameters:

Test Method

1) Lift the lid and pour pure water into the constant temperature water bath (water level: 25mm from the top edge of the cover plate).

2) Turn on POWER, set the test temperature as specified by the standard; press the HEATER key to start heating, and simultaneously turn on MIXER to rotate the stirring motor. When the temperature reaches the set value, the MIXER switch can be turned off if needed.

3) When the test temperature rises to the set value, place the sample for the time required by the standard, then proceed with the test as specified.

4) After the test, turn off the HEATER, MIXER, and POWER switches.

Precautions

1) Do not turn on the HEATER unless there is water in the constant temperature water bath (must reach the safe water level), to prevent the heating element from burning out.

2) Avoid splashing water or moisture on the electronic components and instruments.

3) When not in use, turn off the power for safety.

4) If not used for a long time, drain the pure water and unplug the power cord.

5) Remove any sediment at the bottom. For drainage: first remove excess water with a cup, then wipe dry with a towel.

6) Do not use corrosive media in the constant temperature water bath; use pure water or deionized water.

7) During constant temperature tests, always monitor the water level to avoid drying out and damaging the machine.
