Specification Overview

Cross-linked Cable Slicing Machine complies with the standards of GB/T2951-2008 "General Test Methods for Insulation and Sheath Materials of Electric Cables and Optical Cables" and

the test requirements of standards such as GB12706.1-2008, IEC60502-1:2004, GB11017-2002, IEC60502-1:2004, etc.

It is suitable for large cross-linked cables and control cables, serving as a testing instrument for preparing insulation and sheath samples. It is used in conjunction with thermal elongation tests and tensile tests (producing standard dumbbell-shaped samples) to further evaluate the mechanical and physical properties of the samples, thereby ensuring that the products meet standard requirements.

The working principle is: a motor drives the feed screw, which moves the tool holder back and forth. The tool holder is equipped with a specially designed blade. By adjusting the relative position of the blade and the tool holder, the thickness of the cut sample is determined. Then, the position of the tool holder relative to the sample is adjusted. When the tool holder moves back and forth, it horizontally cuts the required sample.

Cross-linked Cable Slicing Machine uses hardened high-precision dual guide rods and is equipped with a precision transmission square screw, making the equipment operate more smoothly. In addition to retaining the original horizontal cutting and longitudinal splitting functions, it also adds the capability to cut circular cross-sections of cables (optional accessory). The circular cross-section samples cut or planed can be used for measuring thickness, dimensions, and mechanical properties.
