Sewage Tank Cleaning Operation Methods and Steps
1. First, drain the sewage from the sludge tank until only the surface water remains before commencing the sludge cleaning project.
2. Set up a high-power slurry pump with a suction hose. Due to the long distance, the laying of the suction hose should follow the principle of "few bends and sparse joints," and secure bends and joints with wire or sealing tape to ensure no leakage.
3. Place the slurry pump into the sludge within the tank, securing it with a self-made steel frame and filter screen to filter out debris and other impurities, ensuring normal pumping operations.
4. The remaining 0.5-meter thick layer of sludge at the bottom of the tank, due to long-term deposition and near-solidification, is unsuitable for suction by the slurry pump. Instead, use a large suction truck for extraction. The suction truck operates quickly and requires high technical expertise; combine it with a high-pressure flushing vehicle to disperse and dilute the sludge, and clean the tank bottom and walls.
5. When personnel need to enter the tank for work, choose an area with shallower sludge, set up a ladder, wear waterproof work clothing and a safety harness. Entry is prohibited if the sludge depth exceeds waist level.
6. Final cleanup requires manual entry to remove debris and impurities from the tank bottom, combined with simultaneous operation of the suction truck.
