Main Features

Excellent anti-foaming and defoaming properties, effectively suppressing and eliminating bubbles generated during the manufacturing and application of high-solid and solvent-free epoxy coatings.

Provides good bubble suppression in high-viscosity, high-film-thickness epoxy floor coatings, especially solvent-free high-film-thickness types.

Usage Instructions

Add before grinding or stirring for anti-foaming effects; can also be added afterward for defoaming, but must be thoroughly mixed.

For better distribution and effectiveness of Defom 6800, it is recommended to grind it together with the pigment in colored coatings.

Due to its high active content, Defom 6800 can be pre-diluted with aromatic solvents to 10% before addition. As hydrophobic particles tend to settle, it is advised to use the diluted solution immediately.

The product is thixotropic; viscosity may increase over time or at low temperatures, which is normal. It is recommended to stir well before use for optimal performance.
