Hazards of Mine Gas
Mine gas is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. It is poorly soluble in water and has a higher diffusivity than air. While non-toxic, it can cause asphyxiation at high concentrations. When present in the air at certain concentrations (5% to 16%) and exposed to high temperatures (650–750°C), it can ignite. CO gas causes poisoning, while C?H?, C?H?, and C?H? gases can lead to spontaneous combustion of coal seams. It poses significant risks to safety production, making the monitoring of mine gas indispensable.
Scope of Application: Analysis and detection of coalbed methane, mine gas, goaf gas, and confined area gas.

Components of the Mine Gas Gas Chromatograph: It consists of a main unit, chromatographic columns, a methane converter, a thermal conductivity detector, and dual hydrogen flame detectors. It is microcomputer-controlled, enabling automatic valve switching and detector signal switching. Equipped with four gas flow sensors, it connects to a computer via data cables, and signals are collected and processed by a dedicated mine gas chromatography workstation.
