The X320-08 double solenoid valve is an automated fundamental component used to control fluids and belongs to the category of actuators. It is not limited to hydraulic or pneumatic applications. Solenoid valves are used to control the direction of hydraulic flow. Machinery in factories is generally controlled by hydraulic cylinders, hence the use of solenoid valves. The working principle of a solenoid valve involves a sealed chamber inside, with through-holes at different positions, each leading to different oil pipes. In the middle of the chamber is the valve, with two electromagnets on either side. When the coil of one electromagnet is energized, the valve body is attracted to that side. By controlling the movement of the valve body, different oil discharge holes are blocked or opened, while the oil inlet hole remains normally open. Hydraulic oil then enters different discharge pipes and uses oil pressure to drive the piston of the hydraulic cylinder. The piston, in turn, drives the piston rod, which moves the mechanical device. In this way, mechanical movement is controlled by regulating the current to the electromagnets.

The XSTOU X310-08 solenoid valve is used for the electrically controlled operation of pneumatic valves to "open" or "close." It complies with the NAMUR connection standard and can be directly mounted on the side of pneumatic actuators without the need for tubing connections. Depending on the requirements of the instrumentation control system, either single or double solenoid control can be selected. A two-position five-port solenoid valve is paired with double-acting actuators, while a two-position three-port solenoid valve is paired with single-acting actuators. The entire unit is simple, compact, small in size, and has a long service life. This product is available in a basic model (IP67) and an explosion-proof model, with an explosion-proof rating of IExd II BT4, making it suitable for explosive environments in factories.
