Product Performance Characteristics: This series of products is widely used in various printing factories, plastic factories, waste paper factories, hardware factories, garment factories, used goods recycling companies, and other enterprises. It is suitable for the baling and recycling of used items, waste paper, plastics, etc. It is an excellent equipment for improving labor efficiency, reducing labor intensity, saving manpower, and cutting transportation costs. The nominal pressure ranges from 5-10-15-30-50-60-80-100-120-150 tons, among other specifications. Additionally, custom designs can be made according to user requirements. Machine Function and Application This machine is suitable for baling waste materials such as waste paper, waste plastic, plastic bottles, cans, and foam. Installation Precautions 1. First, place the machine on a level surface to prevent shaking, then add hydraulic oil (grade 68#). The amount of oil added depends on the tonnage of the equipment. 2. The motor of this machine is a 4-pole 380V—50Hz. Please verify that the local voltage matches the machine's requirements. After connecting the wires (wire size should correspond to the motor's power capacity), turn on the power and check the motor's rotation direction (indicated by the arrow). It should rotate clockwise. If the direction is incorrect, adjust the connection of any two live wires. Maintenance This machine should be operated and maintained by designated personnel. After each workday, turn off the main power, clean debris around the machine, remove any foreign objects inside the machine, and apply appropriate lubricant to moving parts to reduce wear. Regularly check all screws on the machine for looseness. On new machines, parts prone to loosening include the small flange screws on the central shaft and the four 5/8 large screws inside the pressure plate. These should be tightened periodically. Safety Precautions Before starting the baling process, ensure all doors are properly closed, door locks are fully engaged, the blade latch is secured, and the safety chain is attached to the handle. Do not proceed with baling if any of these components are not properly engaged to avoid accidents. During machine operation, stand beside the machine and avoid placing your head, hands, or any part of your body inside the door to prevent injury. Operation Method 1. After completing the above checks, begin the baling process. First, place a piece of cardboard, woven bag, or plastic film at the bottom of the baling chamber to facilitate threading the wire after baling. Then, place the waste material into the baling chamber, ensuring it is evenly distributed and does not exceed the sides of the chamber. Exceeding the sides may bend or deform the door, and in severe cases, damage the main cylinder. (Note: Do not place hands inside the baling chamber after loading the waste material.) 2. Press the ON switch to start the motor and oil pump. Move the manual valve to the down position, and the pressure plate will automatically lower until it cannot descend further. The motor sound will change during this process. If a pause is needed during compression, move the manual valve to the middle position to pause the pressure plate while the motor continues running. Move the manual valve to the up position to raise the pressure plate until it automatically stops when the upper limit switch is triggered by the upper limit plate. To stop the machine, press the OFF button and place the manual valve in the middle position. 3. During the baling process, if the material in the baling chamber exceeds the lower limit of the pressure plate and the pressure reaches 150 kg/cm2, the overflow valve will activate to maintain this pressure. The motor will emit a sound indicating sufficient pressure, and the pressure plate will stop descending. If the material height does not meet the baling requirement, move the manual valve to the up position to add more material. Repeat this process until the desired baling height is achieved. (Note: The typical baling height is 900mm and should not exceed 1000mm, as exceeding this height may make unloading difficult.) 4. For unloading, move the manual valve to the middle position and press the OFF button to pause the pressure plate. Then, open the doors to thread the wire and unload the bale. Door Opening Sequence: When opening the doors, stand in front of the machine. Open the upper front door first, followed by the lower front door. When opening the lower door, stand at a 45° angle to the front of the machine and keep a safe distance, as the blade latch may rebound with significant force. Ensure no one is nearby before opening the doors. The rear doors are opened using the same method as the front doors. 5. After opening the doors, do not raise the upper pressure plate immediately. First, thread the wire through the bottom groove, then through the upper pressure plate groove, and tie the ends of the wire together. Typically, 3-4 wires are sufficient to secure a bale firmly. 6. When threading the wire, start by passing it through the front lower groove, then through the groove under the pressure plate, and tie a knot after looping it around. The side threading method is the same as the front. After securing the wire, raise the pressure plate and push the bale out from the top to complete the baling process.
