B73 Series and 75 Series External Float Level Switches

Product Description:

The B73 Series and 75 Series external float level switches are fully self-contained units designed for side mounting to tanks or vessels with threaded, socket weld, or flanged connections. The reliability of these float-operated controls has been proven over decades in process control applications.

Applications:

Chemical, crude oil, power, petroleum, pulp and paper.

Features:

(1) Carbon steel or stainless steel welded float chamber;

(2) Operating pressure up to 2240 psig (154.4 bar);

(3) Process temperature up to +1000° F (+538° C);

(4) Specific gravity as low as 0.32;

(5) Optional switch types include dry contact, hermetically sealed, and pneumatic;

(6) Single or multiple switch assemblies available;

(7) High-temperature insulation optional;

Working Principle:

The buoyancy of the process liquid causes the float or displacer to move with the liquid level. This movement positions a magnetic sleeve within the magnetic field of the switch magnet, pulling the magnet toward the sleeve and actuating the switch.
