J52 Series Refrigerant Level Switch

Product Description:

The J52 Series Refrigerant Level Switch is a float-type level switch designed for use with liquids having a specific gravity of 0.60 and above.

Applications:

Chemical, Power.

Features:

(1) Temperature range -45° to +40 °C (-50° to +100° F);

(2) Maximum operating pressure up to 28 bar (400 psig);

(3) Fully sealed housing to prevent moisture ingress;

(4) Sealed electrical interface with 610 mm (24 in.) long terminal leads;

(5) Welded float outer cylinder;

Working Principle:

The buoyancy of the process liquid causes the float to rest on the liquid surface. As the liquid level changes, the float moves, bringing the magnetic sleeve into the magnetic field of the switch magnet. This pulls the magnet toward the sleeve and triggers the switch action.
